PRESS RELEASE

Stay away from trouble. Stay away from being agents of destruction of our collective destinies. Edo, okpa ma khin.

Refrain from engaging in turmoil. Refrain from becoming instruments of devastation of our shared destinies. Edo, let peace prevail!

“We have received credible information regarding the intentions of PDP operatives to incite public disorder, urging their followers to gather at the Ring Road and the Museum Ground to demonstrate against the results of the Edo election.

“While they have the right to publicly protest, they must comprehend that legal consequences will follow if Governor Obaseki chooses to destabilize Edo State.”

,”Nevertheless, we have advised our supporters to be sensitive to the bitter feelings of defeat that the PDP may be experiencing presently, and to display generosity in victory, by showing empathy towards them.

“As we revel in the effusive praises of triumph in this electoral competition, as citizens of Edo, we empathize with the hopes of all individuals, including members of the PDP and other political factions that participated in the election.

“Senator Monday Okpebholo will govern for all without bias.”

He will unify the people of Edo and provide opportunities for everyone to pursue their legitimate and collective ambitions without any impediments.

“Refrain from engaging in turmoil. Refrain from becoming instruments of devastation of our shared destinies. Edo, let peace prevail.”

Signed: Edo, okpa ma khin.
