The National Coordinator of the Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge (NTEC), Arc. Faisal Jafar Rafindadi, has urged the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) to introduce a national talent hunt project across Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Speaking at a recent TETFund Town Hall Meeting in Abuja, Rafindadi emphasized the importance of discovering and nurturing young talents to enhance national development.
He said the initiative would create a platform for students to showcase their creativity and innovation while positioning them for global competitiveness.
According to him, the proposed talent hunt project would not only help reduce unemployment among Nigerian youths but also equip them with practical skills and knowledge essential for career success.
Rafindadi highlighted the achievements of the Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge, describing it as a model for empowering young Nigerians through mentorship, exposure, and innovation-driven opportunities.

He expressed optimism that TETFund’s involvement would expand the impact of such efforts, making talent development a sustainable part of Nigeria’s education system.
