The Honorable Minister of State at the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq. extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of Sarkin Kudu Gatawa Isah Muhammadu Bawa in light of the unexpected demise of the District Head of Gatawa, Alh. Isah Muhammadu on Wednesday.
In a message of condolence issued by the Minister of State at the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation on Friday, it was conveyed:
“I write with profound sorrow to offer my sympathies to the esteemed residents of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, Sokoto State, and the entire family of Sarkin Kudu Gatawa Isah Muhammadu Bawa on the untimely passing of your distinguished Son, the District Head of Gatawa.
“The tragic event that led to the demise of the District Head of Gatawa, Alh. Isah Muhammadu on Wednesday can only be characterized as a regrettable, heinous, and despicable act of bandits that must not go unpunished.
Prior to his sudden demise at the hands of these ruthless bandits, the traditional ruler was a remarkable leader and a benevolent traditional ruler who served his people diligently and with compassion. “I am confident that he will be remembered for his exemplary deeds.
“I beseech the Almighty Allah to pardon the shortcomings of the late traditional ruler, Isah Muhammadu Bawa, and grant the entire family the strength to endure this irreplaceable loss.
“Truly, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of mourning and sorrow. Please accept my deepest condolences and sympathies.”
