Dikko Radda Digital Innovation Center Rewards ₦1m Awards to outstanding students of Alqalam University in Katsina State

The Dikko Radda Digital Innovation Center, formerly known as the Katsina National Talent Hunt, has awarded cash prizes totaling ₦1 million to outstanding students of Alqalam University, Katsina, as part of efforts to promote academic excellence and support educational development in the state.

The awards were presented on behalf of the founding father of the initiative, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, CFR, former Governor of Katsina State and current Chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

According to a statement signed by Faisal Jafar Rafindadi, Project Coordinator of the Dikko Radda Digital Innovation Center (formerly Katsina National Talent Hunt), recognition of academic excellence remains one of the core priorities of the Center, which is committed to identifying, nurturing and rewarding exceptional talents across Katsina State.

Under the award scheme, a sum of ₦500,000 was presented to the best graduating student of the College of Social and Management Sciences, while another ₦500,000 was awarded to the best student in the Public Administration/Political Science programme.

The statement noted that the gesture forms part of the Center’s contribution to the development of education in Katsina State, aimed at encouraging merit, motivating students to excel academically, and strengthening human capital development through sustained investment in education and innovation.
