The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and a key support group, Solution Marshal, have jointly called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a transparent and credible governorship election in Anambra State, scheduled for November 8.
Solution Marshal, a grassroots mobilisation group within APGA, is championing the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term.
During a strategic meeting themed “Synergising for Victory”, held to align campaign efforts, the State Chairman of APGA, Mr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, and the Convener of Solution Marshal, Mr. Celestine Anere, stressed the importance of transparency and active grassroots engagement in securing victory.
In his address, Obi-Okoye praised the initiative and reaffirmed the party’s support for the group. He highlighted APGA’s focused and practical approach to the coming election.
“I am not a theoretical politician; I am a practical one who understands how to win elections,” Obi-Okoye declared. “This is not a gathering for entertainment. It is a strategic mobilisation session. Every local government chairman must work hand-in-hand with Solution Marshal. We are going into this election to win, and no one should underestimate our determination.”
He further urged members of Solution Marshal to maintain a strong presence at every polling unit on election day to safeguard APGA’s votes.
On his part, Anere reaffirmed the group’s readiness to collaborate with APGA’s leadership across the 21 local governments to deliver victory.
