The Soludo-Ibezim Campaign Organisation (SICO) has reiterated commitment to a campaign centered on issues and development, ahead of the Nov. 8 governorship election.
This was contained in a statement by Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, Director-General, SICO, and made available to newsmen on Friday in Awka.
Chukwulobelu expressed strong confidence in the leadership and public support for the incumbent Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim.
According to him, the Soludo-Ibezim ticket remains the popular and consensus choice of the people backed by a solid record of governance.
“We will not be distracted. Our focus remains firmly on Anambra’s future and the real issues that matter to the people.
“We are committed to showcasing governance milestones, policy achievements and a long-term vision for sustainable development in Anambra,” he said.
The Director-General highlighted key accomplishments under Gov. Soludo’s administration over the past three years.
“Gov. Soludo’s administration achieved major strides in infrastructure, healthcare, education and economic reforms. All achieved without external borrowing.

“We do not take the people’s support for granted. We are working hard to earn every vote based upon the value that we have created and will still create for the people.
“Anambra is far too sophisticated to be governed by the semi-literate or people of easy virtues. Anambra cannot afford to go backwards,” he said.
