ACOE to Celebrate 3rd Anniversary with Public Lecture, Awards Highlighting Credible Online Journalism

The Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) has announced its 2025 Investiture Public Lecture and Awards, a major event dedicated to strengthening the role of online media in Nigeria’s national development.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Shola Akingboye, on November 23, ACOE said the event will hold on November 25, 2025, at Azikiwe Hall, Nicon Luxury Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja.
With the theme “Strengthening Corporate Online Media for National Development,” the organisation said the programme underscores its commitment to promoting credible digital journalism, enhancing professional capacity, and deepening issues-based reporting that supports national growth and good governance.
According to the statement, the investiture marks ACOE’s third anniversary and will feature a major public lecture focused on strengthening strategic communication, improving media–government collaboration, investing in digital infrastructure, and promoting accountability-driven reporting.
The event will also include an awards ceremony recognising champions of good governance, humanitarian service, and national security. Posthumous honours will be presented to fallen heroes who lost their lives in the fight against insurgency and banditry since 2010.
