Senator Sunday Karimi, who represents Kogi West in the Senate, issued a stern warning to Senator Ndume, urging him to refrain from uttering derogatory remarks against the Tinubu government.
Senator Karimi expressed apprehension regarding Senator Ndume’s conduct, likening it to that of an unpredictable element, and stressed the importance of engaging in constructive dialogue and criticism within the realm of governance.

Senator Karimi pointed out that many of Senator Ndume’s critiques of the Tinubu regime seem to be motivated by a personal agenda aimed at undermining the government without regard for consequences. He highlighted the inconsistency in Senator Ndume’s stance, observing his conspicuous silence during the previous administration under President Buhari from the North.
Senator Karimi underscored that numerous allegations put forth by Senator Ndume lack concrete evidence and are driven by a desire to tear down rather than a genuine commitment to enhancing governance. With a wealth of experience as a legislator spanning over two decades in the National Assembly, Senator Ndume is advised to exercise prudence in his declarations and steer clear of making instigative remarks that could exacerbate societal divisions and national disunity.
Senator Karimi’s plea for Senator Ndume to embrace a more constructive and responsible approach to criticism serves as a poignant reminder of the significance of engaging in substantive discourse and fostering cohesion in the pursuit of national progress. “It is imperative for all stakeholders in governance to prioritize the collective welfare of the nation above personal motives and political animosities.”
