Flybird Aircraft Management Services Ltd. on Sunday confirmed the safe landing of its aircraft, 5N-ISB, following an unusual incident on a flight from Abuja to Kano, assuring that no passenger or crew member was injured.
In a statement signed by the company’s Corporate Communications team in Lagos, Flybird said the flight crew adhered strictly to established operational and safety procedures, bringing the aircraft to a controlled and safe stop.
According to the statement, all passengers disembarked safely, with no injuries recorded
“The aircraft has been secured, and the incident has been formally reported to the relevant aviation authorities,” the statement said.

Flybird added that a detailed technical inspection and investigation are currently underway in line with regulatory requirements, noting that it is fully cooperating with aviation authorities.
