Arrangements have been finalized for the Sept. 7 God Bless Nigeria (GBN) Revival Rally, a landmark outreach initiative aimed at restoring dignity, hope, and transformation to marginalized communities in Lagos.
With the theme “No Shaking: Revival, Hope, and Transformation,” the rally will bring the gospel message back to the streets of Lagos, featuring live ministrations from top gospel artists, including Esther Igbekele, Mike Abdul, Dare Justified, Testimony Jaga, Fabian Nwafor, and DJ Gosporella.
In a statement issued Sunday in Lagos, Pastor Hope Egabor of the God Bless Nigeria Church said the event, to be held at the National Stadium, has for years “been restoring dignity, meeting needs, and transforming lives,” particularly among the downtrodden.
Founded and led by Pastor Tony Rapu, Senior Pastor of The House of Freedom and renowned social reformer, the God Bless Nigeria movement has spent over a decade extending its reach beyond traditional church walls, impacting slums, street corners, and overlooked communities across Lagos and beyond.
“The God Bless Nigeria Rally transcends traditional outreach. It is a revival on the streets, specifically targeting society’s most forgotten populations with both practical support and spiritual renewal,” the statement read.
This year’s rally promises:
Free medical care and health screenings
Free meals, clothing, and personal care items
Professional grooming services
Free transportation and discounted staple foods at the Gbanjo Market
An immersive worship experience and inspirational messages
Since its inception in 2006, the outreach has rehabilitated addicts, offered new beginnings to sex workers, and reintegrated homeless individuals into society, while leading countless lives to Christ.

The statement called for public support to sustain the ministry’s work: “Let us join hands to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, heal the sick, win souls, and share Christ’s love with the forgotten. We welcome donations of food, clothing, medical supplies, toiletries, school items, toys, and financial contributions.”
Corporate organizations, NGOs, and well-meaning individuals are urged to partner with the movement to transform lives and restore hope to Lagos’ most vulnerable populations.
